OUTREACH MINISTRY

Serving those less fortunate...

Every Saturday morning hot breakfast is provided to the homeless. This ministry, begun in 1999, has served over 7,000 meals to those in need. Clothing is also offered.

But more than food is served. We sit and visit with our guests trying to let them know God loves them, and we do, too.

"In as much as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me."

VOLUNTEERS TO HELP SERVE BREAKFAST ARE ALWAYS WELCOME.

Breakfast is served between 8:00 and 9:00 am every Saturday Morning at the Church.

Please join us!

                         BIBLE STUDY

Mid-week Bible Study is held on Wednesdays from  6-7 pm in Mary Lawrence Hall (The Church Fellowship Hall).  Our current Bible study is entitled "The Lutheran Difference."  In this study, we explore how Lutherans differ from other Christian denominations.  We show from the scriptures why Lutherans believe what they believe.  Do you know what you believe?  Are you interested in finding out what Lutherans believe?  Then come and join us for this fascinating examination of the Holy Bible and Lutheran Confessions.

If you would like, come and join us at for a time of fellowship. Bring your own dinner, come, and share a time of fellowship and then stay to feast on God's Word.

This Bible study is not just for adults. High School students and those entering confirmation instruction are invited as well. Also, if you are worried about hiring a baby-sitter, then have no worry!  We have a children's program! It's a great time for the whole family.  Adults, young adults, teenagers, and catechumens can enjoy our Midweek Bible Study while the children are supervised and fed God's word as well

Bring your friends and show them that Immanuel congregation is not only rich in history, but, more importantly, rich in the Word!
